Ideas Of The Trundle Bed
Trundle Bed – A trundle bed (sometimes called a trundle bed) is a kind of “two beds in a” contraption – a bed frame and the mattress can be slid or rolled under a slightly larger bed frame for storage when it is not in use. This allows an extra bed (stowed out of the way) when necessary, but also opens the door to other storage and use opportunities.
The most obvious use of a trundle bed is its intended purpose – as an additional occasional bed. The smaller bed (the bed that goes under the main structure) typically has a relatively thin and spring less mattress on the box so that it can fit into its enclosure. This smaller bed probably not be perfect for regular use.
Nest beds are more commonly double in size, although some models feature a double bed frame with a double trundle bed, or two single mattresses – one of which appears side by side with the rest of the main frame to form a king space to sleep size. For rooms that need occasional additional spaces, the trundle bed can be a great space saver. Many people prefer bunk beds, as trunks take up less space, but some bunk beds also come with trundle beds under the lower bunk bed – a good solution if neither a trundle bed nor bunk beds just lend enough space.
